Things are slowly changing, I am a straight guy I wear a mini skirt out and about to supermarket’s high street town etc and guess what not one person as said anything to me not one person. I say if women can wear trousers then men can wear mini skirts, I dress like any other male but I choose to wear a mini skirt instead of wearing trousers just like women can wear trousers instead of wearing mini skirts/skirts. When it gets a bit cold outside I also wear tights with my mini skirt. Please check next time you are at a supermarket about 90% of women will be wearing trousers or shorts. ( very hard for anybody, but for me, impossible) Now, I find out of the people who see me, and read me as a guy dressed, 10% are offended and walk on, 50–60% are not offended, but stare out of curiosity, and the 20% don’t notice, or don’t care , a small % actually compliment me on my outfits, or make up ( nearly all women , unless I’m in an LGBTi bar) .There is also the small % who are antagonistic, and nasty in making comments or actually challenging my right to present as I want to, mainly for political reason. Mostly right -wing, narrow minded nasty little bigots .
