I have worn skirts and dresses as a man to fancy restaurants without incident. I have worn the shortest miniskirts to packed dive bars and only received compliments. I have been dressing this way for years, in very conservative places, and the most annoying I have had to deal with is random people coming up to me to tell me how brave I am. It truly has not had the slightest negative effect on my life at all.
