Candle Safety
1. Trim your wick before burning your candle the first time and every subsequent burn thereafter.
2. We advise burning your candle for periods of no longer than three hours at a time.
3. Discontinue burning your candle when there is 10mm / 1cm of wax is remaining.
4. Always burn your candle on a stable and heat resistant surface, away from drafts or items that can catch alight.
5. Never leave a burning candle unattended, near children or pets.
6. If you’re burning more than one candle at a time, space your candles approximately 100mm (10cm) apart.
Description The Pyro Gather and Canopy is available to fit all sizes of Pyro wood braais, combo braais, and pizza braais. It fits directly on top of the braai unit. A steel flue is then mounted on the canopy, topped by a turbo cowl. (Please note: for optimal performance and safety, the cowl must end at least 500mm above the apex of the roof). This effectively creates a ready-made stainless steel chimney, simplifying the process and ensuring perfect functionality without relying on complex brickwork. Why Proper Protection Is Critical (A Word of Warning) While the Pyro Gather & Canopy offers incredible convenience, it changes the timing of installation significantly. Using this method means the braai is installed while the house is still a raw construction site, often before the roof is even on and well before plastering has begun. This presents a severe risk to your braai. Our PyroBraai units are extremely high-end products, known for their flawless construction and aesthetic beauty. When they are installed this early, they are exposed to harsh site conditions. Cement Dust: The fine dust from cement work is corrosive and will cause rust if it settles on the metal surfaces, quickly ruining the finish. Physical Damage: In a raw build environment, heavy tools and materials are constantly being moved around, creating a very real danger of bumps and scratches. Because the “gather method” means your beautiful, high-end braai will be exposed to a raw site for months, it is absolutely essential that the unit is extremely well protected. It should be completely wrapped and sealed during construction to shield it from dust and physical impacts. By choosing the Pyro Gather & Canopy, you gain a streamlined installation solution and peace of mind regarding your chimney, provided you take rigorous steps to protect your beautiful new braai during the rest of the build.
