Candle Safety
1. Trim your wick before burning your candle the first time and every subsequent burn thereafter.
2. We advise burning your candle for periods of no longer than three hours at a time.
3. Discontinue burning your candle when there is 10mm / 1cm of wax is remaining.
4. Always burn your candle on a stable and heat resistant surface, away from drafts or items that can catch alight.
5. Never leave a burning candle unattended, near children or pets.
6. If you’re burning more than one candle at a time, space your candles approximately 100mm (10cm) apart.
Original La Marzocco Performance Touch / Pro Touch Retrofit Kit This kit makes it possible to upgrade the steam wand of the Linea Mini, Linea Mini R and Linea FB70 to the Performance Touch steam wand. The kit was previously sold under the name "Pro Touch". Contrary to what the name suggests, however, the set does not include the Pro Touch steam wand, but rather the new, optimized Performance Touch steam wand. Advantages of the Pro Touch steam wand compared to the Cool-Touch wand – When opening the steam tap before frothing, significantly less condensation escapes than with the cool-touch lance, so the process is considerably shorter.– For some latte art professionals, this probably won't matter, but the Pro Touch steam wand is significantly more forgiving. It makes texturizing the milk easier and more controlled, as less air and water are introduced. This results in fewer bubbles and a more consistent finish in the pitcher. The installation is very easy and can be done yourself by removing the four screws on the "balcony" cover. Then the cotter pin that secures the steam wand to the steam valve can be removed and the old steam wand pulled off. The set also includes the seals for connecting to the steam valve. These can be replaced before installing the new steam wand. The Performance Touch steam wand is then simply pushed on and secured with the new cotter pin from the set. As part of the upgrade to the new steam lance, the interior of the steam valve can also be wear kit (L165/K) and / or the Vacuum valve on the steam valve.
